WoodShippingCrates.com was founded in 2006 with one goal in mind: to build high-quality, reliable shipping crates that businesses could trust with their most valuable cargo. What began in a South Florida garage quickly evolved into a thriving, nationwide operation — all thanks to a commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and service.
We got our start helping a local company that needed durable, dependable crates for their shipments. Word spread fast. As more businesses discovered our work, we launched our website — WoodShippingCrates.com — and demand exploded. We didn’t just build crates; we solved problems. And that mission still drives us today.

Owned and operated by Louie and Suzanne Maragos, WoodShippingCrates.com has remained family-run for nearly two decades. In 2025, we became a certified Woman-Owned Small Business, a designation that allows us to better serve our growing military and government clientele. One of our proudest early milestones was winning a Navy design competition — and we’ve been trusted by military contractors and government buyers ever since.
